Sauces- and the spice barn

I make a few sauces i like to go in meals or over things.

My favorite is chilpote sauce
I buy ground chilpote to keep on the boat
Usually its 1large can ground that keeps 1year
I buy it from the spice barn in ohio

here is my sauce
1/4 teasp of chilpote
1/2 teasp of red pepper flakes (like for pizza0
1 can of  tomato juice from diced or whole tomatos
3 Tablespoons of dark brown sugar

As this sauce heats up, the flavor releases and so does the heat.
the heat is tempered by the brown sugar.
I add tomatoes as it cook and cook them down to nothing
the sauce thickens and its wonderful in just 30mins
in 30mins my chops are done to perfection and so is my chilpote sauce.

try it one night, you'll be a fan of it
also try the spice barn to find it: go to this link
http://www.spicebarn.com/
They have all sorts of spices, ground fresh daily.

mix it and pour over meat while cooking
