Hulu plus- Its the high end hulu, the one where you can get all the latest episodes of all the newest shows, some shows that are only on hulu, many overseas shows like new UK comedys and its not free its $7.99 a month, but compared to cable its a steal.

Instant Netflicks- Net flicks also has a small fee service to watch movies and tv shows instantly thru streaming video in your home, you go thru netflicks link above, choose your service and method of payment, read if your computer or tv unit is compatible with netflicks plus services, and your hooked up.

3. Redbox-
You've seen them outside grocery stores or in strip malls or gas stations, they are red boxs with movies to rent for $1, new movies, recently released movies (like on dvd) and tv shows. You do have to find a redbox, but they are listed on line at their site thru facebook.
4. Network websites-
There are tons of networks not just ABC< CBS<NBC
there is TNT, A&E, and others
go to their site such as TNT you can either watch an episode live, or a clip of a recent one. On Fox network you can watch a whole season of your favorites, such as house. Many offer premier services that work like pay tv, where you pay for a movie or tv episodes then watch them on demand.
Net works also have on demand, as well
5. Showtime extras:
Show time has preview episodes- they are free and full feature episodes of Nurse Jackie, Dexter , Weeds, The Big C, United states of Tara to name their best ones. You can watch an episode you choose free from their side bar free, if you like the show you can either do an on demand where you pay per episode or subscribe.
The other pay preview nets do this also, and offer simlar services, they all participate in a free weekend of TV, I have watched whole seasons of Nurse Jackie back to back on one of these freebie weekends.
ITs a hit and miss, they dont advertise on the internet only on their sites and on their pay channels.
6. Apps- Wow the stuff you can watch on your phone for free, if you have the app, check out apples i apps or the app store at verizen or droids app store.
7. If your an apple geek and know computers, you can down load movies thru Utorrent. Its best to go to you tube and select this video, the step by step instructions by the guy from UK were great and its free. Yes they are full feature movies you can down load and then put on DVD. I watched Harry potters latest movie one week before it's dvd release, awesome..
